Week 3
Week 3 Rate Overall Exp. 3 I think this week was somewhere in the middle. It was difficult at times but also a very short week with all the inclement weather. Observe: This week I attended a faculty meeting concerning our new reading intervention launch. The faculty planned on testing our new rotations this week on Wednesday. Do to the inclement weather we will be launching the program next week. Reflect: This week I had a chance to read some of my teachers feedback and reflect upon it. When teaching phonics, I need to slow down a bit and allow some of my students to process the information. I have several students who are quick to answer and even though they are correct, I'm not giving others the opportunity to process and respond. By just adding 20-30 seconds more it allows these students more time to think about their response. I have improved on my nonsense words. Some of my students are struggling with syllables and nonsense words. Its really wonderful to see them answer...
